I live near and work in the capital of Wales, Cardiff. When I'm not working, I'm spending time with my family, generally spending time on a computer & fishing.
How this site is built
The site was hand coded using HomeSite on a PC & BBEdit on a Mac. All images were created using Adobe Photoshop, iconography with Adobe Illustrator.
It uses Expression Engine with a touch of custom php for its content management.
It's designed to conform to Web Standards, and every page should validate as XHTML 1 Strict. (nb. There are errors present in the advanced search and contact pages, these are due to Expression Engine generating invalid code)
The layout uses CSS for layout, and only uses simple tables for forms and displaying tabular data. This gives the flexibility to repurpose the site for various mediums (screen, print) and different styles using the same HTML page. It also reduces page size, and should be viewable (if not always pretty) in any browser.
