Really pleased to read that you are involved in a Drupal rethink.

The plumbing behind Drupal does what it says on the tin and is very productive for me.

But the design of drupal.org and of the templates available for Drupal give a poor first and second impression.

You are just the man for the job, but it will be like nudging a super tanker onto a new heading. I really really hope this goes well.

but what about the branding, The blue Head?

second detail is about the “Get Started”:
4 steps?
3 steps should be there
and get support should be mentionned
but not as 4th step.
- Drupal should remain simple and easy
- if in need of support then it has to be considered like the little unmistakable tip above all. the little cherry on the cake to get the full service.

congratulation looking forward to became a new user of Drupal 7, if it gets all UI UX designs and so from these actual great improvements.
I haven’t been through all but would like to.

I am a huge fan. I love Drupal and it is hard to imagine how it can get any more powerful. Really compared to WP, Simple CMS and the dreaded Joomla (still a great cms just gave me a hard time) Drupal is the way to go. I am very excited to see what’s new and where the changes will occur (just don’t pull a vista on us) :)
