Mainly so I don’t forget them myself…

Joe Clark’s SXSW presentation on accessibility
George Olson’s Persona Toolkit
Spooky Girlfriend V1 - XHTML generator
Doug Bowman’s SXSW presentations, apparently FIR is officially no good
Lots of other methods to replace FIR, all of which have good and bad points.

Hi Mark

Hope that you enjoyed Texas and especially SXSW. From what I’ve read it seems to be quite a learning curve.

Not much has changed in good ol’ blighty except the Beeb has a new Chair in the form of Channel 4’s Michael Grade and Man U fluked a win over Arsenal in the FA Cup Semi Final ... England lost in the 6 Nations to Ireland and France and also lost in a football friendly to Sweden ... which was very unfortunate *winks cheekily*

Also if you ahven’t been able to pick up your email you may like to know that Katie (6721) is organising another gathering which you and Emma are invited to. Friday 23 April 8-9pm at the Slug and Lttuce pub in town opposite Bar Cuba. It would be nice to see you both and catch up so do your best to make it please.

Anyway time to go ... if you’re back have some sleep, if you’re on your way back look after yourself and keep away from any suspicious asian men with acme ticking suitcases and facial hair.

Kind regards
Graham

Spooky Girlfriend V1 - XHTML generator -> the
link is dead. I am unable to get into the
imposter.org.
Is there any other mirror site for this
XHTML generator ?

Hi Karthik,

Thanks fr pointing that out. I’ve had a look around and it appears there is no mirror at the moment for this site.

Sorry about that.

A picture of Mark BoultonI'm a graphic designer from near Cardiff in the UK. I've been a designer for over ten years now and primarily work on the web. I'm still partial to a bit of print every now and then though. I used to work for Agency.com in London as an Art Director before working as a Senior Designer for the BBC in sunny Cardiff. This was all before I took leave of my senses and formed my own design consultancy, Mark Boulton Design Ltd.

I've got a thing about grids and typography and occasionally ramble on about them to anyone who will listen.

If you're after simple, clean and effective web design; let me know.
