@media time

In two hours time I’m hop­ping on a train for two hours (that’s tak­ing a train, not hop­ping on a train — that would be silly) for the trip down to Lon­don for the @media con­fer­ence on Thursday and Friday. 

I’m really look­ing for­ward to the con­fer­ence and finally get­ting round to meet­ing people who I’ve only emailed or pos­ted on their sites.

If you feel like say­ing hi, please do. I’ll be the freckly, shaved headed north­ern bloke with the slight Welsh twang to a rather cul­tured Man­cunian accent. Strange? Me? I don’t think so.

    Tak­ing a whole train?!?! Hop­ing on a train is not quite as silly as tak­ing a whole train.

    Unfor­tu­nately, due to massive slip­page in a cur­rent pro­ject, I can’t go to @media (much to my chagrin). 

    I guess I’ll just have to thank you in the com­ments here for kind­ling a love of typo­graphy within me. Rest assured, there’s a pint with your name on it, should we meet at some future webby conference :)
