Snooch redesign underway

I’m just about getting my head round Movable Type for redesigning the snooch site. All preliminaries are done — wireframes, designs, sitemap. Now i’m getting down to the nitty-gritty of build and directory structures.

I’ve just about completed the “Recent” section. This will be the bulk of the site going forward — basically a blog, but with quite a simple, intuitive archiving system. The archive will consist of Monthly, Daily and Category archives, each of which will be contained withinin a dir path eg. daily arhive for 22nd September will be in archives/2003/09/22/ and so on. I’ve got to say with using Movable Type, i’m very impressed with the tags and the flexibility of the system as a whole. Excellent.
