Say hello to the guys and gals for me. And in case they don’t remember who I am, here’s a reminder

I’ve just moved from Perth to London, what a shame! Enjoy it down there, be sure to check out Rottnest.

How many countries are you planning on visiting this year Mark?

My oh my you’re living the international jet set life at the moment, Eamonn Holmes would be envious :)

Graham: There’s a couple more on the list; China (Hong Kong) and Portugal again. That’ll be it for this year!

Can’t wait to see you here Mark, and looking forward to hearing you speak.

    You coming to Brisbane?

  7. Mark Boulton said on: March 24th, 2006 at 8:24 pm

Miles: Me to. I can’t wait to visit Perth. Hopefully I’ll be over the worse of the jetlag by Tuesday as well!

Damien: ‘fraid not :(. I’d love to though. We passed through Brisbane about eight years ago when we were travelling up the east coast but only spent about three hours there! I’ve heard it’s a great city.

Yeah, its all good — makes a big change to the North East (I’m from outside Middlesrbough originally).  Shame you’re not coming over but maybe you’ll get over to Aus another time.  Perth’s not too dissimilar to Brisbane.  Seems to be the Aus destination of choice for UK immigrants.

    Have a good trip.

Can I just point out that the real reason we’re going to Australia is for a wedding — Mark isn’t really an international jetsetter yet Graham but he likes to give off the illusion of it ;)

He’s always got me to drag him back down to earth in lovely rainy Wales…

hello, me again, it’s nice to read all these comments, sorry but we won’t beable to come to Australia to hear your talk because we are going to be in Portugal.

Well if you’re under 5’5” or can afford business class then I wish you the best of luck!

PS. I’m looking forward to the talk!

Will you be discussing any of Microsoft’s new fonts for the web?

  13. Mark Boulton said on: April 6th, 2006 at 2:36 pm

Steven: I’ll be mentioning them yeah. Looking foward to those coming out!

Well, 5’ 10”, so hopefully thewy’ll be no DVT!

I think you’ll be fine for the journey.

I’m 6’5” and I flew London to Perth and it wasn’t fun I can tell you.

I’ll buy you (another) beer if you can slip me a disk with the new Microsoft fonts on there ;)
