Objectives

Spike Networks was appointed to build a microsite which would appeal to a younger audience. Titled ‘dotcomm’ the site had to be highly innivative, both visually and technically, to appeal to its target audience of 14-18 year olds. Several engaging briefs were handed to Spike to develop areas of the site - a game, online banking facilities, tight integration of student services.

Solution

Initial graphic design for the site was completely original and taking nothing from the current ofline branding. Australias student/teenage population are very visually literate due to the surf culture & music scene and the site was designed to reflect those current trends in Australian society.
